“What internet did with information, blockchain will do the same with transactions”. Blockchain is a transformational technology for businesses as it drives re-imagination of processes and business models in a distributed and decentralized manner. Many business executives either do not have the true insights about the blockchain technology and its potential usage and value for their business and industry or they have misconception about it due to its origin from bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Let’s hear and discuss with Jai Singh Arun about how CxO and Business or Technology executives can get a simple and pragmatic point of view of the Blockchain technology, its capabilities, and values from a business perspective. Jai Singh Arun Senior Program Director, Strategy and Product Management, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cybersecurity and Quantum Computing Innovations Chief of Staff to General Manager, IBM Systems Strategy and Development Jai is a senior technology business executive driving IBM’s Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Quantum Computing and Cybersecurity related innovations and solutions business strategy, development and go-to-market execution.

Jai brings over 21 years of technology experience working with IBM for over 15 years, and 6 years with Unisys, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and a start-up organization Diablo Technologies. He has a vital mix of business and technology leadership experience with varied functional skills in product management, corporate business strategy, marketing, sales enablement, software engineering and development, customer support for enterprise-class business solutions and services. He has led many multi-million dollars new businesses to penetrate into new markets, industries, and segments. His last role at Diablo Technologies was Vice President of product management and alliances strategy. He has led Diablo’s big data analytics and in-memory computing solutions management and strategic alliances. Prior to this, he was with Unisys as a Senior Director of software solutions and services management for secure Integrated Systems software solutions and services for mission-critical enterprise business applications. Jai led the global portfolio strategy, product management, roadmap, and go-to-market execution to deliver end-to-end security solutions and advisory and consulting, system integration, and managed security services. At Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, he was a Scientific Officer driving speech recognition, computer networking security research projects for India’s Department of Atomic Energy and a manager of TIFR’s computer center systems and networks. Within IBM, he has held several software engineering and development, marketing, product management, and business development leadership roles at Software Group and Systems Group.
